Frequently Asked Questions

How does the EXACTAP provide increased keg yield?
EXACTAP systems increase keg yield in several ways. Because our patented technology allows for perfect control with each high-speed pour, spillage is drastically reduced. In addition, the amount of foam on each beer is pre-programmed so as not to waste keg volume on excess foam, and eliminate overfilling of liquid. The data collection feature offers operational monitoring and elimination of bartender giveaways This is 8-24% more servings from every keg!

How fast is the EXACTAP?
The nominal dispense rate of EXACTAP is 12 litres per minute or 3.12 gallons per minute equaling a full pint under 3 seconds.

Will I sell more beer by using the EXACTAP and EXACTPOUR systems?
Yes. As long as there is room for incremental sales, you will sell more beer. With growing customer lines, a higher keg yield and a faster pour will allow
you to sell higher quantities.

Does the EXACTAP allow for a proper Guinness (or stout) pour?
Yes, in fact an EXACTAP Guinness pour has a 5 out of 5 approval rating by Guinness. A perfect pint of Guinness is dispensed in 4.5 seconds.

How many different glass sizes can I pre-program with EXACTAP?
With our electronic data control system, you can pre-program up to 3 different, precisely measured glass sizes.

Is it true that the amount of foam can also be pre-programmed into the EXACTAP system?
Yes. At the end of the pour, you can program a certain number of pulses, which cause turbulence resulting in NDT’s patented digital foam control. The turbulence then creates the desired amount of head on each individual glass. (More pulses = more foam)

Can the EXACTPOUR dispense from non-refrigerated (ambient temperature) kegs?
Yes. Because the EXACTPOUR system includes the use of an EXACTEMP cooler, an ice-up time of 120 minutes (water at 59˚F/15˚C) will ensure a perfectly cold beer for every customer.

What happens to the EXACTPOUR system when the keg empties?
EXACTPOUR is fitted with an electronic fob detector. When the detector senses an empty keg, it disables pouring, all the while still keeping the system primed. This means that even after the system dispenses your last pour from the keg, the line stays filled with beer. No gas or foam ever reaches the nozzle and the next keg can simply be attached without experiencing end of keg foam bursts.

Is there a learning curve with EXACTAP and EXACTPOUR products?
There is virtually no learning curve for your employees. And, with EXACTAP, you can reduce labor by up to 67%.

What about maintenance?
Any standard cleaning products for beer dispense equipment can also be used with your EXACTAP and EXACTPOUR systems.
